No drops, no maths

CBD oil is a faff. You're squinting at a pipette, counting drops and still not sure how much you've had. With ours, you pop a bag in a mug and stick the kettle on. You know exactly what's in your cup, every time.

Great tea, made even better

I spent twenty years as a private chef, so flavour comes first. Malty Assam, crisp Ceylon, cool peppermint, warming ginger and turmeric: we choose every ingredient for how it tastes. Then we add 10 mg of flavourless CBD, which makes it a step up from anything else in your cupboard. There's no hemp leaf, so every sip tastes of the blend you picked. Our pyramid bags are plump little fatties too, so you'll often get a second cup out of one.

  • Normalitea: Assam and Ceylon. A proper builder's brew.
  • Naughtea: ginger, turmeric and galangal with white and green tea and a pinch of black pepper.
  • Mintea: peppermint and spearmint. No caffeine, just mint.
  • Tranquilitea: honeybush, lemon balm, verbena, camomile, passion flower and valerian, which has been used as a bedtime herb for centuries. Caffeine-free and made for the evening.

Done properly from day one

When we started, a 2019 study tested 29 CBD oils on sale in the UK and found only 11 were within 10% of what their labels said. We weren't having that. We spent over a year getting our method right, and an accredited UK lab measured 9.4 to 10.4 mg of CBD a bag in our 2022 Normalitea tests. See our lab reports.

All four of our teas are Validated on the FSA's public list of CBD products, under application RP-438. It took years of paperwork, testing and patience, and plenty of brands didn't make the cut. We're chuffed to bits.

Easy to carry, easy on the planet

Every bag comes in its own recycled envelope, so you can stash a few in your bag for work, a weekend away or a long day out. The bags are plant-based, made from cornstarch, and the boxes are recyclable. Used bags go in your food waste bin.

The FSA advises healthy adults to limit CBD from all food sources to 10 mg a day. That's one bag of our tea. CBD is not recommended for under-18s, anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, or anyone taking medication.

Which blend should I start with? Normalitea for your morning brew, Mintea after dinner, Naughtea when you fancy a bit of warmth and Tranquilitea for the evening. Or try all four in the Sample Pack.

How do I brew it? Water just off the boil, one bag, four minutes. Normalitea's lovely with milk, and Tranquilitea goes well with a drop of honey.

Will it get me high? No. Our 2022 lab tests found THC below the lab's limit of quantification, the smallest amount its kit can reliably measure.

Does it taste of hemp? No. We use flavourless CBD and no hemp leaf, so it tastes of the tea you picked.
